I spent the last weekend shooting photos and video at Dfest in downtown Tulsa. I really enjoyed catching up with friends and hearing some good music. Tom and Angie along with all the Dfest staff was kind enough to hook up the old guy with passes. Years of music photography has some perks. This shot is of the band, Native Lights, one of my favorites from the weekend.

Tonight, I shot an impromptu fashion shoot for my friend, Julie Kelly, and her Utica Square store, Pavilion. Ooh la la!

Today, some of my students and I began digging through some of the old backdrops here at OSUIT. We hit the jackpot! The Christmas fireplace backdrop was the winner. Daniel and Tryg decided to get their Christmas card photo done early.

This is a portrait of Jay Lashley of Western Heritage taken in his mid-town Tulsa home shortly after a video shoot. Great sound and great vibe! Western Heritage is one of my favorites on the local scene.

I spent four days last week shooting photographs for Con-way Truckload in Joplin, Missouri. Great company, great people! The shoot provided quite a unique challenge, moving a 100 ft. truck around the countryside and making it look attractive. But, that's the fun part of my job. There were a lot of "one shot" opportunities. It's tough to turn a truck around on a county road in Missouri or on Boston Ave. in Tulsa.

It rained at OSUIT today. I own a camera. Thank you!
